Colorado Lacrosse Announcement

The face of the University of Colorado Men’s Lacrosse program for the last 7 years, John Galvin, has recently stepped down.  Assistant Coach Rick Fleenor has been named the Interim Head Coach for the 2009 fall season - while administration pursues a national search.  Both assistant coaches Tate Price and Dave Leach will remain on staff as well as Peter McGraw, as Academic Coordinator and Special Assistant.

Coach Galvin will be remembered for bringing the Buffs' program to national prominence, coaching the team to four Top-Five MCLA rankings, including the 2006 National Championship game, and most recently, an MCLA Final-Four Appearance.  During his six year tenure, he has taken "your team" to new heights.
